Since reaching adulthood I have never, “felt my age” as they say, partly because I’m such a goofball. I think I’ll always be “young at heart.”

☀️If you are not familiar with polymorphic/ polymorphous light eruption aka, PMLE (sounds like an 80’s band, doesn’t it?)- it’s a basically a reaction to the sun. It is an autoimmune response.

⛱️I get it every year the first time i am in the sun for an extended period of time, like here in Florida.

😷It presents it different ways but I usually get a terrible, raised, itchy rash all over my hands, arms, and legs.

❌I should stay out of the sun once it “erupts” but I can’t. Beach time is precious and I love nothing more than long walks on the beach.

Sooo. . . It gets worse. 😣

I am truly my own worst enemy sometimes.

Anyone else have PMLE? What do you do about it? Any tips to make it go away faster?
